A Week of Purim!

Hi Everyone,
From the moment it was Rosh Chodesh Adar it has been all about purim in the Rosenthal's house. From making costumes and hamintashins to singing and telling jokes! I won't write a lot because shalom says that I write too much, so I will just write captions on the pictures.
Love and miss you all!
Love Miriam

P.S. PLEASE POST PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!! I tend to be the only one doing it these days

HAMENTASHENS!
Meir Simcha was such a help and lined up all the shaloch manos!

Meir Simcha being measured for his costume

Chaim being measure for Meir Simcha's costume!

All the hard work really pays off when you get a reaction like this!!!

The Shaloch Manos that Meir Simcha made in School

The Cuties all dressed up!
The Ferocious Lion

The artist at work

The 3 boys! A lion, a Leopard and an eagle. Please note that the eagles in this house have a black nose and whiskers!

The whole family!
(Lion, Deer, Leopard and Eagle)

The Purim Spirit!

"Bold like a leopard, Light like an eagle, Swift like a Deer and Strong like a lion to do the will of our Father in heaven" - ethics of our fathers (chapter 5 I think)

Meir Simcha getting his face painted at the Aish PArty

I think that our eagle is having an identity crisis! first he had whiskers and now he has a dog face!!!??!?

You are absolutely right re that you are the only blogger. The parents are totally into Village Israel and post all their stills and videos there. I will try to do better.
When I first saw the very professional costumes I was surprised that you were able to find such great subjects and super fit for all. THEN I realized they were all "Home-Made" and was totally floored. You guys are FABULOUS!!!!GOOD ON YOU!!!
Kol Hacavod!!!!!

Hi Miriam. Thanks so much for posting. You all look amazing! And please, don't listen to Shalom, there can never be too many words. Along with pictures. I hope we will update the blog with some pictures when I'm in Israel (arriving Thu evening). While retirement is great, it isn't very photogenic. Love, Auntie Carolynne

Rachel and Miriam you are quite a team! Such cute little boys. (The big boy was pretty cute too)
The costumes are amazing and it seems thatn the energy in the house is so positive and happy. What a wonderful way for those two little boys to grow up! You all do us proud!
