Hi Everyone,

The other night Rachel was going through all her old high school stuff. She found a notebook with poetry that she wrote when she was little and she inspired me. So I am writing this post in a poem......

The Bank's Cottage

We went for two days

It was so much fun

We laughed and played

We wish you all could have come

We went for a hike

The first day we were there

We did not have an fears

of seeing a big white polar bear

Mrs. Bank had this cool

Bucket to fill

With bugs and rocks

So later you can look at it on the window sill.

Of course typical me

I got all bitten up

And for some time the next day

I had to sit with my finger in a cup (of ice so that it wouldn't swell)

Later that day

We went for a swim in the pool

And Meir Simcha and I

Had a basketball duel

We had a great BBQ

For dinner that night

We are deprived you see because on our porch we are not allowed to BQQ

We are striped of our right

After a nice long sleep

and many sweet dreams

We woke up and had coffee

Chaim had rice dream

Abba and Ima

They left early that day

But the Rosenthals and I

We stayed to play

We went for another hike

And my bottle we did Tovel

After exploring the property

We did not find even one hovel

We played Boggle and Rummy-Q

While the little boys slept

and they we went home

And we all Wept
