This is FABULOUS!

So seriously. This is great!! I am away from my computer for one day (for the May Day holiday) and I come back to find:

1) a note from Miriam with comments and a picture of her fabulous performance in her school play (one of the major reasons my delay in leaving for HK wasn't so bad - I got to see Miriam's play which I really enjoyed.)
2) a video from Shalom (which I can see - none of the "security" issues I had receiving wmv files attached in an e-mail) of his karate and a picture of his silver medals. Mazel Tov, Shalom - very impressive. (Although it didn't seem as if many people were paying attention. I assume there was a rapt audience and judges just outside the camera range.)
3) unbelievably cute pictures of Meir Simcha, Tayla & Sivan.

A few people have recently had me join "Facebook". I still don't get that. Sending an e-mail seems just as good and easier (no logging in/passwords).

But seeing a family collection of videos, photos and commentary in one place I can see the advantage. It's not like being there - but it makes being half-way/quarter-way around the world much easier. Perhaps I'll even figure out how to join into video conferencing ( we'll see).
